Rick Binger is responsible for all aspects of creative strategy and process. Rick has over 30 years experience in strategic creative thinking. He cut his teeth working for Pentagram in the 1980s designing and producing the award winning Nature Company catalog. He moved on to form his own agency – Binger Catalog Marketing – in 1991. There, he worked with many catalog companies including Design Within Reach, Art.com, Restoration Hardware, Benefit Cosmetics, Nickelodeon, The Oakland Raiders, Discovery Toys, and Road Runner Sports, to name just a few. Rick later served as Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer at Catalog Spree (an iPad and iPhone app providing paperless catalog shopping); Vice President of Creative at SysIQ (an ecommerce development agency); Director of Creative at Gump’s (a famed San Francisco retailer); and Executive Vice President of Creative at CohereOne (a catalog & digital strategy and creative agency).
Rick Ragusa specializes in marketing strategy with a focus on offline and online customer acquisition, retention, and analysis. He is a data-driven marketing leader with over 25 years experience including 8 years of P&L level responsibility in omni-channel retail and direct marketing. Rick has contributed to the success of some of the best brands in omni-channel retail and direct marketing, including Williams-Sonoma, Smith & Hawken, Serena & Lily, and California Closets. Rick leverages the analytic layer to understand what drives customer behavior, formulates retention strategies, and identifies best sources for customer acquisition through allocation and attribution modeling. Rick currently consults with high-growth, small to mid-sized omni-channel retailers providing strategic guidance and executional management to advance their capabilities and performance.
Dana Mitchell is uniquely suited to bring organization and order to creative projects. She’s spent the last 10 years working with consumer and B2B companies in print, digital, and mobile media. Prior to joining R2 Marketing, Dana worked as Creative Project Manager at CohereOne; Partner Manager at Catalog Spree and Project Manager at Binger Catalog Marketing, a leading catalog creative and marketing agency. A graduate of the Brooks Institute of Photography’s Commercial Photography program, Dana is also able to bring a keen visual sense to her work. Her past clients include Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, REI, Lands’ End, L.L.Bean, Art.com, Eddie Bauer, Hammacher Schlemmer, Sharper Image, Jockey, and Chico’s.
